Vedanta in Japan : Acharya Chetanaji

Dear Devotees,

 

Today we bring you an interesting message! It is from Nippon ( Japan ), where sincere seekers after Atmajnana (Self-knowledge) have discovered a dedicated teacher of the Shastras in Acharya Cetana, a devoted disciple of Pujyasree Swami Dayananda Saraswati. Using today's communication technology, many eager students distributed in many cities all over Japan, come together over "Skype" each morning to learn the Sreemadbhagavadgeeta from Srimat Cetanaji. The Geeta Home Study of Poojya sree Swamiji is rendered into the Japanese language and taught by him, along with the necessary teaching of Samskrtam. It is remarkable to see how they overcome linguistic hurdles by self effort. Every year one can witness a few sincere students of Acarya Cetana at the Vedanta Camps at our Rishikesh Ashrama that Poojya Swamiji conducts. 

 

We appreciate not only the earnestness and diligence but also their abiding eagerness to be in close touch with the ageless culture of Sanatana Dharma. They are an inspiration to any seeker after Self-knowledge (Jijnasu).

 

We wish them the very best and pray to Sri Dakshinamurthy to bestow on them Guru-krpa and Jnanam.

Dear people of AVT JAIPUR

Namaste 

This is cetana from Japan.

Thank you for your letters which always keep us remembering the traditional culture of India.

By your last letter, I could know that 6th December is the great day of Gita Jayanti.

Here, in Japan, it is difficult to follow traditional function timely without your letters because we do not have many people who follow traditional calender of India.

So, your letters always helps me and my students to follow the traditional calender.

We could also have small function of Gita Jayanti of 6rh December. 

My students who are all living different cities came together on the Skype and we could do chanting keeping with Krsna in our mind, keeping Arjuna in our mind, keeping Vyasa in our mind, and keeping all of you who live in India in our mind.  

Daily in the early morning, we, Japanese students, come together on the Skype and studying Gita Home Study Course translated in Japanese language.

Dear Devotees,

Geeta Jayanti was celebrated with the Parayanam of the whole Bhagawadgeeta with great devotion. The blessings of the Geetacharya, Parthasarathi -Bhagavan Krishna, of the Mother Geeta and that of Partha were invoked. The Chorus chanting by so many people is in itself a thrilling experience.
