Om
Dear Devotees,
On the 14th January, Dakshinayanam will get over and Uttarayanam start from the 15th. The Makara-Ravi-Sankrama time is past midnight of the 14 January. Makara Sankranti will be celebrated on the 15 (Sunday) hence, in most places. (Some places in India celbrate it on the14th). Sun entering Uttarayanam is a very auspicious occasion. It is also Sunday, Bhanu Vasara. Sun is the source of sustenance for the whole life on Earth and hence Surya Narayana is worshipped, and particularly on this day. Our greetings to everyone on this festival.
On Sunday the 15th, there shall be Surya Pooja followed by Soorya Namaskara at the Chhaatraalaya.

The next Pradosham falls on Friday, the 20th of January, and on Sunday, the 5th of February, is the one after that
On the 30th January is Ratha Saptami, and 31st is Bheeshmashtami.
Prayers,
